What this covers

MethodPunks is run by SpiceBox Consulting SARL. These terms apply when you use methodpunks.com, including the AI Coach, Canvas, and any paid features. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You need an account to access most features. Keep your login credentials secure - you are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person, please. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

What you get

Access to our library of 100+ innovation and product methods - templates, guides, examples, and expert tips. Plus the AI Coach (Sherpa) for method guidance, Canvas for interactive worksheets, playlists to organise your toolkit, and our blog.

Free accounts get limited access. Paid subscriptions (managed through Polar) unlock more features and AI Coach credits.

Paid subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed through Polar. Their terms apply to payment processing - we never see or store your card details. AI Coach credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law.

You can cancel anytime from your account. Access continues until the end of your billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

AI Coach - please read this

The AI Coach is powered by a fine-tuned language model. It generates suggestions and ideas - not professional advice. Important things to know:

Always verify AI output before acting on it. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
The AI Coach is not a substitute for professional consulting, legal, financial, or business advice.
You are responsible for any decisions you make based on AI Coach output.
AI may occasionally produce unexpected or irrelevant responses - this is a known limitation of current AI technology.
We are constantly improving the AI Coach, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy or suitability of its responses.

Your content

You own what you create on MethodPunks - canvas entries, chat conversations, playlists, and feedback. We get a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We will not sell your content or use it for unrelated purposes.

Please do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

Our content

Method descriptions, templates, guides, blog posts, and other MethodPunks content are our intellectual property (or used with permission). Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use this content. Please do not redistribute, resell, or republish it without permission.

Our content is for educational and professional development purposes. It is not a guarantee of business outcomes.

Play fair

Do not abuse, overload, or attempt to exploit the service.
Do not use the AI Coach to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access beyond normal use.
Do not impersonate others.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or discontinue features (including the AI Coach) at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes.

Liability

MethodPunks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them. If you disagree, stop using the service.
